If you have any ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS you cannot be treated.
If you have any PARTIAL CONTRAINDICATIONS you may or may not be suitable for treatment. Your body Sculptor will advise the best course of action in a consultation.
People with electrical devices
Should not be treated, RF current flowing through the body may interfere with these devices or heat up metal implants.
Laser-Lipo is not a treatment for obesity.
Patients with significant fat stores may not be ideal candidates for EMS Sculpt. The HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electro Magnetic) energy used to power EMS SCULPT penetrates to about 7 cm. Those with thicker fat stores may not get as significant muscle contraction, resulting in fewer results following treatment.
Pregnant and nursing females should not undergo treatment with EMS SCULPT. Women who are close to menstruation may find that it comes sooner or cramping is increased/intensified with treatments, therefore we recommend not undergoing treatment during this time of the month.
Possible contraindications to treatment include the following:
- Metal or electronic implants in the treatment area
- Cardiac pacemakers
- Implanted defibrillators
- Implanted neurostimulators
- Drug pumps
- Malignant tumor
- Hemorrhagic conditions
- Epilepsy
- Recent surgical procedures
